Kirby Superstar Ultra

I know I have already reviewed a Kirby game, but if you take a second look, you will see I have only talked about Kirby himself. In this entry, I am going to talk about an improved version of the game "Kirby Superstar", released for the SNES in 1996. In 2008, a game called "Kirby superstar Ultra" was released for the Nintendo DS Lite. It is basically a new and more improved version of Kirby Superstar. The main reason I chose to review this game was everyone voted this game to be reviewed, and this gave me a idea. Every once in a while, I will put out a voting poll for people to vote for games that the want to be reviewed(You can be expecting one in the future). Anyhow, let's get on with the review.
Spring Breeze: A very basic game mode, but fun. The storyline: King Dedede has stolen all the food from Dreamland! You must go and defeat King Dedede and rescue all the food.
Dyna Blade: In this game mode, there are five stages. Each one is filled with fun. Once you reach the mountain Dyna Blade lives at, you will have to battle her. The storyline: Dyna Blade has disturbed the crops(I really don't know what that means)!
Great Cave Offensive: This game mode is a bit hard, since it is completed by finding 60 treasures, which are hidden throughout the cave, and you are supposed to find them(if you have trouble finding them, do not worry. I myself have only found 57, till today.).
Gourmet Race: King Dedede challenges you to a race to see who can eat more food and be first at the same time(Let me give you a little tip that might help you: On the third stage of Gourmet Race, near the beginning, you will see some Copy Deluxe Abilities. Grab the bird one, because it will make you fly faster.).
Revenge of Meta Knight: there is nothing different about this game mode, except the time limit. This should not create trouble, because for me, I did not even notice it. Other than that, it is the same: make your way to the end, so you can beat Meta Knight.
Milky Way Wishes: This game mode also has a change. When you hear this, you will probably think"Holy Cow! How am I ever going to get past Milky Way Wishes with that disadvantage?!", but actually it is going to be a HUGE advantage. So, take full advantage of it. Here it is: You can not use copy abilities. But, if you get it's Copy Deluxe Abilities, you get to keep it. So, you can pretty much choose any copy ability, as long as you have got it's Copy deluxe Ability.
Well, there you have the review most wanted by visitors. If there are any questions, e-mail me at: gameblog335@hotmail.com . Hope you enjoyed this special review!

Sonic Unleashed

Hello, again. Today I'm going to review a Sonic The Hedgehog game called "Sonic Unleashed". As the picture shows, there is the familiar blue spiky hedgehog, and then a totally unknown werehog. The relataion between them: Sonic gets captured and turned into the werehog. The scene for this odd story is part of the beggining intro scene. One thing that I really enjoy is the effort put into the graphics, because they are AMAZING. In the intro movie, Dr.Eggman has evil plans(as always), and in the process, Sonic gets turned into a werehog. While this is happening, Eggman blows up the Earth... Now I'm not sure where Eggman got the power to blow up our safe heaven, because the only thing I can think of that can destroy Earth, is another planet, a HUGE meteor, Solar Wind.etc. While you play as Sonic, it is simple: race through the level as fast as possible, collect coins, and beat enemies. But with the werehog Sonic, it's not that simple. In fact, it actually has nothing to do with what Sonic games should be about. I'm not saying it's a bad feature, in fact it's really nice with the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, but get a load this: you have to tear and slash your way through enemies on the night levels. Why this is a nice feature on the Wii, is because you have to swing the Nunchuck and Wii Remote to tear and slash. Cool! There is one bad thing I can say about this game: it is the amount of talking. I don't mind the talking in the toturials, but I do mind the talking between the levels, because there is so much of it. Sonic Unleashed is a GREAT game, and probably the best Sonic game I have played in my life, despite the strange storyline and gameplay. My rank for this game: A-. Hope you enjoyed this review. Super Smash Bros Brawl

Hello. Today I am going to review a game for the Nintendo Wii. It is one of my favourite games. It includes many famous Nintendo characters such as Mario, Link, Kirby, Samus, Pikachu, and many more. The game is Super Smash Bros Brawl. Now I don't like fighting games, but when it comes to games like TMNT(Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and games like Super Smash Bros Brawl, I do like them. The gameplay is simple: get your opponent's damage high with a variety of moves, and send them flying with a powerful smash attack! But this isn't the only thing to be played... There's much, much, much more! There are home-run contests, multi-man brawl, and target smash on the Stadium mode. There's Training mode where you can practice with characters. And there's even a adventure mode: The Subspace Emissary. Now, lets talk about the characters. The newcomers are great: Pit from Kid Icarus, ROB the robot, Lucario, Pokemon Trainer, And Meta Knight. The characters that didn't make it to the stage were: Doctor Mario, Young Link,Pichu, and Mewtwo(who was replaced by Lucario). There's nothing bad I can say about this game, because there's so much to do, and expirience. Nintendo really went above and beyond for this game! So if you own a Wii system, you can consider getting this game, because the price is worth it. If you have any comments or questions, please e-mail me at gameblog335@hotmail.com. Bubble Quod

Hello. I'm now going to review a game that can be played on the computer. It's not famous, but is a great game that takes physics and fun and combines them to make a game called "Bubble Quod". As strange as the name is, so is the gameplay. Your a cricket who has shorts trapped in a bubble, and to finish each level, you have to find a pin and pop the bubble. Every level is diffirent, so you should expect a lot of varaity in challanges. Here are some levels of Bubble Quod above. This is probably my shortest review...so far. If you have comments or questions, e-mail me at: gameblog@hotmail.com Thanks for reading!!!

Mairo Bros

Hello again.I'm now reviewing another game, which first was at arcades, but then they made it for NES. It includes two very familiar characters to gamers. If you guessed Mario and Liugi, your right. Mario Bros was a smash hit in arcades, and it was the game that made Mario so famous. The story goes that Mario and Luigi are plumbers, and they have to jump their way to a certain phase(stage)defeating shell creepers(turtles), side stepers(crabs) and flies. What makes this game so fun and popular was that you could play it with a second player, which would be represented by Luigi. The gameplay is simple: when either a shellcreeper, a sidesteper, or a fly is on the platform, and you are under it, you can jump, and when you jump, you hit the platform and flip the pestide that is on the piece of platform. Now each pestide has something special about it, and here it is:shellcreepers:nothing special about them...sidestepers:when hit once, they become faster, and when hit a second time, you flip them over...flies:slow, but can fly over a certain amount of platform... In order to really knock them, you have to go next to them, and push them when their fliped over. if you jump on the platform they are on while they are fliped over, you will flip them again, enabaling them to move once again, and you don't want to do that. As you advance though the phases, the'll keep getting harder and harder. So, I reccomend you have a strategy, and of course, play with a second player. If you have any questions or comments, e-mail me at: gameblog335@hotmail.com Hope you enjoyed the second review about Mario Bros!!!

Kirby's Adventre

Hello. My name is Amir, and this is my very first blog entrance . My blog reviews video games. The video game I'm going to review first is called "Kirby's Adventure" for the NES. You probably recognize him. He's pink, small, and round. He's the main character. He can swallow his enemies, and copy their ability. That's how he fights! But if you swallow a enemy without a copy ability, nothing happens. He just swallows it like food... But on the other hand, you can spit them out, and hit a enemy. In those cases, enemies with no special ability are useful. You can do the same with resources from bosses. Wispy Woods' resources are apples that fall at a certain time while your fighting the boss. But when you have a special ability the apples get annoying, because you cant swallow them, and the only way to get them out of your way is to destroy them with the special ability which you should be hitting the actual boss. now i'll talk about Kirby's appearnce, because it amuses me how the little ball of fluff evoleved during his games. To draw Kirby, it is pretty simple. First draw a circle, then draw the shoes, draw the hands, eyes a big smile, his cheeks, and as it says, presto its Kirby! Kirby was included in many games and the latest game was Super Smash Bros Brawl. And he appeared as above. Now i am done with my very first blog entrance. hope you enjoyed it!
