Hello, again. Today I'm going to review a Sonic The Hedgehog game called "Sonic Unleashed". As the picture shows, there is the familiar blue spiky hedgehog, and then a totally unknown werehog. The relataion between them: Sonic gets captured and turned into the werehog. The scene for this odd story is part of the beggining intro scene. One thing that I really enjoy is the effort put into the graphics, because they are AMAZING. In the intro movie, Dr.Eggman has evil plans(as always), and in the process, Sonic gets turned into a werehog. While this is happening, Eggman blows up the Earth... Now I'm not sure where Eggman got the power to blow up our safe heaven, because the only thing I can think of that can destroy Earth, is another planet, a HUGE meteor, Solar Wind.etc. While you play as Sonic, it is simple: race through the level as fast as possible, collect coins, and beat enemies. But with the werehog Sonic, it's not that simple. In fact, it actually has nothing to do with what Sonic games should be about. I'm not saying it's a bad feature, in fact it's really nice with the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, but get a load this: you have to tear and slash your way through enemies on the night levels. Why this is a nice feature on the Wii, is because you have to swing the Nunchuck and Wii Remote to tear and slash. Cool! There is one bad thing I can say about this game: it is the amount of talking. I don't mind the talking in the toturials, but I do mind the talking between the levels, because there is so much of it. Sonic Unleashed is a GREAT game, and probably the best Sonic game I have played in my life, despite the strange storyline and gameplay. My rank for this game: A-. Hope you enjoyed this review.
